About

I am Meghan, founder of Studio Birdy, an Interior Design Studio in Portland, Oregon.

I believe that interior design should should serve the people who use it most, through aesthetic and functionality. I believe that is how we transcend trends and move forward in all areas of design: sustainability, health, safety, timelessness, etc.

I always come back to my love for how spaces make people feel and function, as well as my appreciation for the collaboration it takes to bring them to life, from artists and makers to tradespeople and, the designers who pull it all together. Great design is a true collaboration, a balance of details, people, and time.
