A custom dining table design was a true collaboration between myself, lead designer Brittany Venner and Craftsman, Neal at dovedesignco.com.
The client was presented with multiple custom table designs to fit the space perfectly, work around existing electrical constraints and foot print. A balance of angular and chic was the primary style brief to fit the client’s preferred design aesthetic and accomplish a truly bespoke piece.
The first table fits the space combining an organic modern top with a modern structured trestle base.
Ultimately the client chose angled legs in two sizes and an angled table top. The room’s ample windows will accentuate the angled legs, casting shadows that become part of the design as well.
